Denver International Airport is the third-busiest airport in the world. With 69 million passengers traveling through the airport in 2019 alone, it is one of the busiest airline hubs in the world’s largest aviation market. The airport is the primary economic engine for the state of Colorado, generating more than $33.5 billion for the region annually. Denver International Airport’s mission and vision is to provide excellence in service and support for the 100 million annual passengers.

CSAi was tasked with upgrading the existing telecommunications infrastructure and adding additional equipment aimed at supporting 5G to allow for increased capacity and network useability for passengers and workers in the airport. The Great Hall project is one of the airport’s capital improvements that will help it prepare for the future by enhancing security, improving operational efficiency and increasing capacity of the Jeppesen terminal. CSAi designed and modified structural components in the Great Hall to accommodate additional equipment and new antennas while working within existing constraints of ongoing renovations to this area of the airport.

“Although CSAi works perfectly off-line, we wanted to have our technicians connected at all time. So we implemented wifi service in our pickup trucks. This transformed the way we now run our teams in the oil field. In other words, we get the status of work orders in real time.”
